Booking facility can be availed by General Permission department is responsible for granting Permission for use of the facilities owned by BMC as mentioned below.

  1. Two Play Grounds
  2. City Center Kund Area.
  3. BD Auditorium
  4. Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre (EZCC) Auditorium
  5. BJ Samaj Sadan
  6. GD Samaj Sadan
  7. Sukantanagar Samaj Kakshya
  8. Play Ground attached to the Community Center (Ward 28 to 41)

General Permission department also issues Pet License.

There is a file maintained for each of the above mentioned facility along with the register to record the booking status of the facility.

For the booking of above mentioned facilities an applicant needs to submit an application at the counter of the Corporation addressing to the Commissioner.

The concerned department staff at the counter checks the availability of the facility on the requested day in the Booking Register.

If available then the department staff generates a challan as per the rate chart and gives it to the applicant for payment at the Bank.

The applicant deposits the amount at the bank and submits the bank receipt copy at the counter.

The department staff attaches the application along with the payment receipt in the concerned file and mentions his remarks in the note sheet.

The file is sent to the Commissioner for approval. The Commissioner approves in the note sheet and the file is sent back to the department staff in the counter.

The department staff enters the booking details in the General Permission software and generates an NOC and attaches the same in the file.

The file is sent to the Joint Municipal Commissioner (JMC) for final sign off.On sign off by the JMC, file is sent to the department staff at the counter.

The department staff updates the booking register and the applicant collects the NOC from the counter.

 

There is a Community Center in each ward from Ward No.-28 to 41 which can be booked by the permission of the Councilor but for booking of the playground at the community center the applicant needs to submit the application at the counter of the Corporation with the NOC from the Councilor and then the process for approval as mentioned above is followed.

 

To apply for a Pet License an applicant needs to submit an application to the department staff at the counter.

For renewal of the License a copy of the previous license is attached to the application form and submitted by the applicant.

The department staff generates a challan of Rs. 500/- and gives it to the applicant for payment at the Bank.

The applicant deposits the amount at the bank and submits the bank receipt copy at the counter.

The department staff attaches the application along with the payment receipt in the concerned file and mentions his remarks in the note sheet.

The file is sent to the Commissioner for approval. The Commissioner approves in the note sheet and the file is sent back to the department staff in the counter.

The department staff enters the Pet License details in the Pet License software and generates the license and attaches the same in the file.

The file is sent to the JMC for final sign off. On sign off by the JMC, file is sent to the department staff at the counter from where the license is collected by the applicant.
