CITIZENS ARE REQUESTED TO AVAIL THIS FACILITY. || In addition to online payment, citizens can also pay property tax for the FY 2023-24 in Cash/ Cheque/ DD at Borough I, II, III & BMC HQ(PouraBhavan) and the designated bank branches of HDFC at Rajarhat & Saltlake. || The facility of paying Property Tax through Debit & Credit Cards (VISA, Mastercard, Rupay) will be made available from 15.01.2020 at BMC, HQ & the Borough Offices 1, 2 & 3. Property Tax for F.Y. 2023-24

NOTICE 1.

Due to Durga Puja holidays Property Tax for the Financial Year 2023-24 will not be collected from 18 th October 2023 to 29^th October 2023 in Borough Offices/ Tax Collection centers of Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation. Property Tax can be paid as usual though Online and by Cash / Cheque /Demand Draft at the designated bank branches of HDFC.

Collection of Property Tax will be resumed from 30^th October 2023 as usual in Borough Offices/ Tax Collection centers of Bidhannagar Municipal Coproration.

Citizens of ward no - 1 to 26 can pay Property Tax for the F.Y. 2023-24 from 13.10.2023 as usual from 11AM to 3PM.

For citizens of Ward no. 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 37, 39, 40 & 41, offline demand notice of Property Tax for the F.Y. 2023-24 will be available from 3rd week of October 2023. However they can pay Property Tax online from 13.10.2023.

NOTICE 3.

All channels of Online & Offline (CASH , CHEQUE & DEMAND DRAFT) payment of property tax for the F.Y. - 2023-24, 1st & 2nd Qtr is stopped on and from 30th September ,2023 at 12.00 p.m night onwards due to generation of 3rd & 4th qtr property tax demand for the F.Y. 2023-24. The service will be resumed through all channels from 13.10.2023.

The upcoming PHASE-II notice will show all 4 (four) qtrs of property tax demand for the FINANCIAL YEAR 2023-24 ; (PAID & UNPAID).

Notice:-

This is to bring to the notice of all citizens residing within the jurisdiction of Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation that in terms of Sec-140 & Sec-160 of The West Bengal Municipal Corporation Act 2006 and the decision of the Board of Councillors, Simple Interest @ 10% and penalty @10% will be payable from 01.04.2024 against the arrear property tax as it stands on 31.03.2024.
